Answers to common questions before your visit.

Bookings & Visits

Can I book on the same day or visit without a reservation?

Same-day bookings are available. However, we may not be able to accommodate you depending on availability.
You may also visit without a reservation, but advance booking is required from 8:00–9:00 and 18:00–22:00. Guests with reservations may be given priority at busy times.

What should I bring when I visit?

The lead guest should bring a screen showing the booking details and a form of identification.
You do not need to prepare anything else.

How early should I arrive before my booking?

Please arrive 10 minutes before your booking time. We will confirm your booking details at check-in.
If you expect to be late, please contact the shop in advance.

What happens if I am late?

Please contact the shop by phone, LINE, or another available method as soon as you know you will be late.

If you arrive late, your experience may need to be shortened or partially adjusted depending on our booking schedule.
If you have neither arrived nor contacted the shop more than 30 minutes after your booking time, your booking will be treated as a no-show and you will be charged 100% of the service fee.

Can I change the date, number of guests, or plan after booking?

If you change the date, the entire original booking is subject to the applicable cancellation fee. There is no change fee for adding guests, but the additional guest charges apply. If you reduce the number of guests, the cancellation fee applies to the guests removed from the booking. There is no change fee for changing plans; only the price difference will be settled. Changes may not be possible depending on availability.

How many people can you accommodate in a group?

Group plans are available for 5 or more guests and can be booked on the same day. There is no maximum group size. For groups of 5–19, prices start at ¥4,950 per person (tax included). Groups of 20 or more use a separate group plan starting at ¥3,300 per person (tax included) and require advance consultation and payment.

When do cancellation fees apply, and how should I contact you?

Cancellation fees are: up to 5 days before your visit—free; 4 days before—30%; 3 days before through the day before—50%; same day—100%; no-show—100%. Cancellation contact hours are 8:00–18:00. A cancellation takes effect when the shop actually confirms the phone call or message during those hours. External booking websites follow their own cancellation terms and procedures.

Can I still visit in bad weather, such as rain or a typhoon?

We operate as usual in rainy weather. Cancellations for personal reasons are subject to our standard cancellation policy. If the shop determines that the experience cannot be provided because of severe weather, major public transportation disruptions, or similar circumstances, we will offer a date change or a refund.

Kimono Rental

What is included in the kimono rental price?

For women, the price includes a kimono, obi, dressing, accessories, undergarment, tabi socks, zori sandals or geta, and a bag. For men, a shingen-bukuro drawstring bag is included instead of a bag. Complimentary hair styling subject to the stated conditions, one free basic hair ornament, and paid options are presented separately.

Is hairstyling included in the price?

Women receive complimentary hair styling when both advance booking and advance payment are completed. It takes approximately 10 minutes; men are not eligible. One basic hair ornament is included free of charge and is separate from paid options.

Can I choose my hairstyle?

You can choose your preferred hairstyle from the samples available in the shop.
We can also style short hair.

What kind of luggage can you store?

We store luggage other than valuables free of charge.
Large items such as suitcases can be stored for ¥1,100 per item (tax included / ¥1,000 before tax).
We cannot store valuables.

What time do I need to return my kimono?

The standard return time is by 18:00. To request an extension or next-day return, apply by 17:00 by phone, LINE, WhatsApp, or in person and receive staff approval. Extensions are available until 22:00 at ¥1,100 per kimono per hour; any partial hour is charged as a full hour. Next-day return requires advance payment, costs ¥2,200 per kimono, and is due by 10:00 the following morning.

What are the hours for the Night Plan?

Night Kimono and Night Yukata each start at ¥7,700 (tax included) and are available until 22:00 on the same day.

Can men use the service?

Yes, men can use the service.

Are there any requirements for children?

Children’s kimono rental starts at ¥4,400 (tax included) and is available for children 80–140 cm tall who are of elementary-school age or younger.

What kimono and footwear sizes are available?

Relaxed-fit and large sizes from 2LL to 4LL are available for both women and men for an additional ¥3,300 (tax included) per plan. No advance stock check is required. Children’s sizes are also available.

What happens if an item is stained, damaged, or lost?

There is no additional charge for minor stains from normal use.

If difficult-to-remove stains, tears, damage, or loss require repairs, professional cleaning, or replacement, you will be responsible for the actual costs incurred. We do not charge a fixed compensation amount. Please do not wash or repair the items yourself; be sure to contact the shop.

We do not offer damage or loss protection or insurance. Please review the important notes provided at the shop for detailed assessment criteria.

How long does it take from choosing a kimono to going out?

Choosing a kimono takes approximately 10 minutes, and kimono dressing takes approximately 15 minutes. If you receive hair styling, allow approximately 10 additional minutes. The total time may vary depending on your plan and how busy the shop is that day.

Experiences & Photography

What is included in Japanese-Style Makeup?

Japanese-Style Makeup can be booked separately, starts at ¥6,600 (tax included), and takes approximately 20 minutes. It includes base makeup, eye makeup, and lip makeup. Hair styling and kimono rental are not included.

Can I use my own makeup products?

Yes, you can use makeup products that you bring with you.

Can I book only the Tea Ceremony?

The Tea Ceremony package costs ¥11,000 (tax included) and includes kimono rental. The tea ceremony itself takes approximately 30 minutes, or approximately 60 minutes including kimono dressing. The Tea Ceremony cannot be booked separately.

Where exactly does the photo shoot take place?

Photo shoots take place in the shop or around Asakusa.
Popular locations include Kaminarimon, Senso-ji Temple, and Sumida Park.
The location may change depending on the weather and crowd levels that day.

When and how will I receive my photo data?

The Professional Photography plan starts at ¥16,500 (tax included), includes a 30-minute photo shoot and approximately 50–70 photos, and does not include kimono rental. Photos are delivered by Google Drive or SD card within two weeks of the photo shoot.

Shop & Payment

Are staff who speak supported languages always available during business hours?

Japanese and English support is always available in the shop. Vietnamese support is available only when a Vietnamese-speaking staff member is present.

What payment methods do you accept?

Advance payment when booking is available by credit card, PayPal, PayPay, or bank transfer. Your booking is confirmed after we verify your bank transfer, and bank transfer fees are the customer’s responsibility. Groups of 20 or more require advance consultation and payment. Payment at the shop is available by cash, credit card, PayPal, PayPay, WeChat Pay, and Alipay.
